Ode to Anya Epstein

October 19, 2010

Ode to Anya Epstein

set to Copacabana

Her name was Anya, just like my sister
With yellow pencils in her hair
And H:LOTS scripts stacked everywhere
She worked with Yoshimura and Tom Fontana
and while she initially assisted Tom she went on to write some episodes
she wrote the two parter fire and the work related
where pembleton had his stroke
Anya assistant to Fontana
the best thing besides being Fontana (hey)

She has a brother his name is THEO
He manages the red sox
and her great uncle he wrote Casablanca
And Anya wrote a show for Geena
And Kyle Secor WAS THERE TOO!
Anya, assistant to Fontana
the best thing besides being Fontana (hey)

Yellow pencils, name like my sister…

Her name was Anya, she used to be on NBC
But that was ten years ago
back when NBC used to have good shows
Now she does In Treatment
with Gabe and Dianne on HBO

Anya, assistant to Fontana
the best thing besides being Fontana (hey)

LOL! What a wonderful tribute. I hope someone shows it to her!

So cool! Wonder if it could be included in her Wikipedia page under “External Links?” That would be kind of awesome.

Awesomeness, Snarky. Nobody gives such good play to the Fontanaverse, either.

    @popscribblings, it’s worth a try.

ETA: oops, Wikipedia frowns on links to blog entries.

    OMG Manilow Overdose!

@Penpusher. I know! I was wondering how it would play, particularly since I seem to have selected the one of the rare Manilow songs without a key change!

@Snarky’s When we get to the IFMiB Awards, I think we know what Billy Crystal will be doing…

Damn, I didn’t realize she had her hands on In Treatment!

But that was ten years ago
back when NBC used to have good shows

I have been humming this all day.
